The Pause that Preaches

In a world that rewards hustle, God invites us to holy stillness. The pause isn’t punishment—it’s preparation. Like seasoning that needs time to settle, some truths only emerge when we stop stirring and let the Spirit speak.

Moses didn’t rush ahead. He waited for the assurance of God’s presence:

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” —Exodus 33:14

Rest isn’t weakness—it’s revelation. It’s where clarity is born and burdens are lifted. If you’ve been pushing through without peace, maybe today is your invitation to pause and let the Word do the work.
